A street, a sunset, and a view worth holding onto.

After years of working nearby, this sunset became familiar to me: brick buildings, a blue facade, traffic, and evening light at the end of the street. I turned that everyday view into a painting.

I kept the natural perspective and made the sunset the focus, working KIMO into the street sign until the lettering felt part of the block.
